HOW TO Root Samsung Galaxy Note With One Click

So you’ve bought a Samsung Galaxy note, which is quite popular among the recent Android devices released by Samsung and you want to root it? It’s quite easy now and you can do it within a minute on Windows though a future update may support Linux and Mac. One Click root is a tool which roots quite many Android devices and Samsung Galaxy Note has received its One Click rooting Script, thanks to an Indian XDA member dr.ketan for packing up the script and of course DooMLoRd, for his invaluable zergRush exploit. This tool has been names Easy Rooting Toolkit.

If you do not want to use this tool, you can also check our tutorial to root your Note using Unlock Root which roots 250+ Android devices, Samsung Galaxy Note being one among them. You can root your Note running 2.3.5 and 2.3.6 using Unlock Root.

Prerequisites

Before you root any Android phone, you need to back up your phone’s data. You can back up your contacts to the SD Card and to back up your Applications you can use ASTRO File Manager. In case you need to reset your phone, you can make use of the back up files to restore those applications.

DisclaimerBlogoTech is not responsible for any damage that might be caused to your device during this process though the possibility of any damage is negligible. Try this at your own risk. Also note, rooting your phone will void your warranty.

      1. Download Easy Rooting Toolkit using the link above and extract the contents to a separate folder.
      2. Enable USB Debugging by going to Settings>Applications>Development and make sure USB Debugging is checked.
      3. Connect your Samsung Galaxy Note to the PC via USB Cable and make sure you set it to Charge Only mode.

Does nothing on 2.6.35.7-N7000XXLC1-CL except reboot. Several “File not found errors occur”. This root package appears to be exactly the same as found on about 200 other sites.

  • Munky

Does this method allow unrooting and how would that work?

    • http://www.blogotechblog.com Lalit Indoria

Unrooting can be done using Superoneclick or flashing the stock firmware!

    • Munky

Tried several times. Can’t get it to work. If you have time any help would be appreciated. Thanks for this page anyway :)
