Prerequisites
- Make sure you have backed up all of your apps to the SD Card. You can use ASTRO File Manager for the same.
- Back up contacts and SMS to the SD Card.
- Disable all Anti-virus and security tools as this might prove to be a hindrance in the process to install ClockworkMod Recovery on Samsung Galaxy R.
- Have a minimum of 60% battery in your phone.
Steps to Install Custom ROM
- Download Infected ROM zip file to your PC.
- Do not extract the contents and copy the zip file to the root of your SD Card.
- Turn off your device.
- Enter into recovery mode. To do this, turn off your phone and when you see the first screen with Samsung Galaxy R written, press the Volume Up and center button together. Finally, you are in the recovery menu. You can navigate using the Volume Keys.
- Select the option “install zip from sd card” and then select “choose zip from sd card”.
- Now select the zip file which you had moved to your SD Car in Step 2.
- On selecting the zip file, the ROM will be flashed “++++ Go Back ++++” and select “reboot system now”
