Olive Pad: Price and Review

Notion Ink is a Bangalore based firm which has made a tablet computer, the Adam Tablet. It was launched worldwide through a video on December 18, 2010.  Pre-orders are available for this tablet right now.

The Adam Tablet runs a customised version of Android 2.3 and moreover it is the first Android device to contain Pixel-Qi’s low power dual-mode display.

Design

The device weighs 730g processing with Nvidia Tegra 250 and Dual-Core Cortex A9 processors. It measures 19.1 × 26.9 × 1.4 cm.  The thickness is 14 mm. It also has a 3-axis accelerometer, an ambient light sensor and also GPS. It has two USB slots which can be used to connect to the mouse or the keyboard. The USB slots can also be used to charge other USB devices.

You can also plug in the Adam to a HDTV through the HDMI port which supports 1080p video output. So you can play all your HD videos in it and i hope it supports all video codecs.

It comes along with the Adobe Flash and is expected to support AIR when it is released.

A SIM card slot is also available for 3G and EDGE support. So you can even make calls and send text messages just like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Olive Pad.
